Super Baby Louis

While we are a long way from being potty trained, Louis did go pee on the potty last night. Yes, you read that correctly. Louis, my youngest child by 39 minutes at 16 1/2 months of age, went pee on the potty.

For at least a month now at bathtime, Louis stands up in the tub, grabs down there, and pees while staring at the toilet. We always ask if he has to go potty before he gets in the tub, but at the ripe age of 16 1/2 months really didn't think he'd get it. Except last night, he got it. Walked to the toilet, Matt held him up and tinkle tinkle yahoo!!!!

Charlie is at the grabbing down there stage, so maybe he's not too far behind Louis? I know I'm crazy to think that they're picking up on this potty training already and if we keep up on it perhaps by age 2 they'll be trained. Crazy. At least its a start on the potty training road, and hopefully the road is shorter rather than longer!
This past weekend we had a visit from Grandma and Grandpa Holter! The kids were really excited, and we were too. Yesterday we went to a pumpkin patch, brrr! It was snowing. I think Charlie and Louis weren't excited to be out there when it was so cold, but George still had a good time.
